Hello, I selected to create proxies, and the proxy list is showing the Same IP for each one?
The created proxies were almost instant, but it's all of the same IP.
Is this because of the amount? I thought it would take time to make the proxies as it's a monthly server...
Awesome! This question has already 6 answers..
Hello Christina,
Every instance come with one IPv4 Address and createproxy turn this one IPv4 Address into 1 HTTP Proxy, 1 SOCKS5 Proxy etc.. So you may use protocol that you want. But anyway, always 1 instance = 1 IPv4 Address.
If you need more IPv4 Addresses on one VPS, then go for Merchant Tools.
Also If you are talking about IPv6 Addresses then you can use this IPv6 addresses via IPv4 Address (So it is correct that IP Address is same - check with browser that you are actually using on different IPv4 port different IPv6).
Hello ZDenek,
Do you know if the answer about the IPv6 addresses is similar to the below?
"I buy an ipv6 subnet /40 and BGP with Vultr
then setup squid ipv4 to ipv6 by one port to one ipv6 ( each an ipv6 per /64). Now I have 50k dedicated ipv6 for bot"
"...then you can use this IPv6 addresses via IPv4 Address (So it is correct that IP Address is same - check with browser that you are actually using on different IPv4 port different IPv6)."
- I see many of the IPs with the Ports being different. Does this mean that when using it, the IPv6 address changes like with a subnet?
Vultr is giving /64 but even on /64 you can create from this subject exactly 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 ipv6 addresses, the problem is that ram and instance hardware can handle just few thousands. But anyway using large number of ipv6 proxies may be pointless since any firewall may ban whole subnet (all of them). And yes createproxy create number of ipv6 proxies on each port so if you want 1000 then on your instance createproxy open 1000 ports and you are connecting this ipv6 addresses via instance ipv4 address. Also ipv6 proxies created with createproxy are http not socks5.
And by the way I have finished while ago update for DigitalOcean and now with every instance come 1 HTTP IPv4 Proxy, 1 SOCKS5 IPv4 Proxy and 16 IPv6 HTTP Proxies.
So check this out, and dont forget to get $100 free credit that they offer.. (just google for Digital Ocean $100 Promo)
Thank you for answering Zdenek. So from studying the SubNet issue, I also asked another proxy service about it... they said.
"70 Subnets per 5,000 pack"
And that they use only IPv4s. So that may mean that these are ports created from about 70 IPv4s as mains?
For DigitalOcean, you are saying 2 IPv4s are possible and 16 unique IPv6s (not tied under the same recognizable subnet?)
The issue is, it could be detectable under the same subnet to ban multiple bot accounts if they're all interacting with each other.
So, my thoughts were, is that possibly for the high volume bot projects, they may use many Ips temporarily, then shut down, create new accounts. I'm studying cyberabuse and they may create account, say hate, then become inactive.
For traffic bots, the difficulty is challenging to need automation to create IP per server, new location, delete, (sign a petition e.g., or view), create new server, delete, repeat... needing an automatic script with your Template?
Ok, on single instance / server you get one iv4 address and some offer also ipv6 address and some give you also ipv6 address with range that may be used to generate many ipv6 proxies. With merchant tool it's possible to add floating ips so one server has multiple ipv4 addresses. And as I said to me millions of ipv6 addresses generated from single subnet is useless as I already said. Any ipv6 proxies may be used via main server ipv4 address, what ipv6 proxy will be used depends on port you use for connection.
For automatization check end of this video, basically I'm explaining there what you wrote ( creating servers after some time interval, usage this proxies via router, removing servers after specific time interval.. ) I call this automatization and it's new feature of createproxy.
